If you are a client, then you probably know us already. If you aren’t, then you are probably reading this to know what makes us different. Well, it won’t take you long to realize that we have a very independent and unique team at Bensirri PR. A team that is united by a common sense of purpose: to help clients communicate their stories to their audiences. That is our passion, our love, and our mantra. Though we share this common purpose, each of us arrived at it through a different path.

Some of us have a political communication background, some of us have a broadcast background, some of us have a journalism background, and some of us have a financial background. Together, we make one heck of a communications team that adds real value to client work. You might also be interested to know that all of us were born and raised in Kuwait. That means we not only know the market, the culture, and the society, but we are part of the market, the culture, and the society. That’s what makes us different …in addition to being good at what we do, of course.

 

Meet Team Bensirri PR


Fawaz Al Sirri

Founder and Managing Partner, Fawaz established Bensirri PR in August 2008 following a career in communications in Kuwait and region. Fawaz serves hands-on all Bensirri PR clients and leads on corporate and financial communication initiatives. He advises clients on internal communication initiatives, financial communication, M&As, investor communication, political outreach, as well as other reputation and perception management communication activities. Fawaz holds a BA in Political Science from Arizona State University and has worked on over 40 brands during his career.

Leslie Mouawad

Leslie leads strategy and approach on community engagement campaigns such as ExxonMobil’s four-year running science competition. Leslie also serves as lead communication manager on Bensirri PR’s O&G clients, including Schlumberger, Kuwait Energy and ExxonMobil.

A natural story teller in every aspect of her life, Leslie holds a masters degree in film studies from the University of Paul Valery in Montpellier, France.

Dareen Awwad

A writer by training and a communicator by profession, Dareen leads the daily consumer communication and CSR activities for leading local and international retail brands in sectors that include lifestyle, nutrition, and technology. Dareen holds a BA in print and broadcast journalism from Concordia University, Canada.

Reem Al Gshat

Reem is a social media enthusiast who joined us in October 2011 immediately after graduating from college. Reem holds a BA degree in Finance and Accounting from Kuwait University, where she was also a member of the Dean’s List Council and managed social networking and internal communication for her college.

Mounerah Al Azmi

Mounerah is an avid writer, a literature buff, and a long-time member of the Kuwaiti Writers Guild. She works with the team on various tasks and accounts.
